Recently, I visited the Henri Rousseau exhibition, A Painter's Secret, at the Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia. During my visit, I spent 3 days sketching the imaginative dreamlike jungles of Rousseau. Now I am painting jungle scenes purely from my own imagination.

My painting process involves sketching with watercolor pencils, filling the shapes with watercolors, and outlining some of the shapes using liquid acrylics. Watercolor is the first medium I learnt during my early teenage years. Now I am using watercolors again and seem to be quite proficient at it. I have gone back to the beginning.
